New England Aquarium Marine Conservation Action Fund - (www.neaq.org) The Marine Conservation Action Fund (MCAF) is a microgranting program that addresses critical needs in the marine conservation field, including funding for urgent, time-sensitive projects and support for early-stage, entrepreneurial projects led by emerging conservation leaders in developing countries. Since it was founded in 1999, MCAF has supported researchers gathering key data on threatened and endangered animals; aided grassroots leaders in engaging and educating communities through local conservation projects; and supported efforts to offer long-term protection for marine species and habitats. ===================================================================== National Marine Aquarium - (www.national-aquarium.co.uk) The National Marine Aquarium is the UK’s largest public Aquarium with a strong marine conservation ethos. The Aquarium operates a wide range of education, conservation and research programmes as part of its charitable objects.  Through the Aquarium exhibitions, educational programmes, and internal and external projects, the Aquarium seeks to ‘Drive Marine Conservation through Engagement’. ===================================================================== Pegasus Foundation - (www.pegasusfoundation.org) The Pegasus Foundation improves animal welfare through effective grant making and education in the United States, the Caribbean, Native American lands, Africa and Asia.  Through a strategy of engaged philanthropy, the Pegasus Foundation serves as a catalyst to help non-profit organizations achieve their potential by forming partnerships, leveraging resources, and educating the public. The Pegasus Foundation seeks to inspire collaborations by organizing conferences and meetings, and facilitating communications. ===================================================================== PHOTOKID Workshop - PHOTOKID Workshop is a project started by Mendy Calixte with the aim of encouraging young people to use their creativity to make their voices heard, to address the problems of their community and to play a necessary role in developing their surroundings.  Mendy Calixte was one of the first Haitian youth to get involved with Haiti Ocean Project in 2007. ===================================================================== Core Gravel (www.coregravel.ca) - CORE Landscape Products was founded on the belief that we all have the ability to improve our environment. For us at CORE, that means creating products that both enrich our environment and are sustainable.  The goal is to create eco- friendly, permeable public space foundations.  Products include core gravel, core grass, eco-friendly pebble lighting, and decorative privacy screens. =========================================================== Adobe Youth Voices - (www.youthvoices.adobe.com)  Aims to empower youth in underserved communities around the globe with real-world experiences and 21st century tools to communicate their ideas, exhibit their potential, and take action in their communities.  Adobe Youth Voices is a program of the Adobe Foundation and an initiative of TakingITGlobal.  Haiti Ocean Project is a partner of Adobe Youth Voices. ========================================================= Bryan Adams Foundation - (www.bryanadamsfoundation.com)  The Bryan Adams Foundation was set up in 2006 by the musician and photographer Bryan Adams shortly after the tsunami struck southern Asia. The Foundation aims to improve the quality of people’s lives around the world by providing financial grants to support specific projects that are committed to bettering the lives of other people. ========================================================= Guy Harvey Ocean Foundation - (www.guyharvey.com/ocean-foundation)  The Guy Harvey Ocean Foundation conducts scientific research and hosts educational programs aimed at conserving the marine environment.
